    ECS announces the Intel 945 series motherboards ready for CrossFire technology support



    Taipei, Taiwan, JAN 10, 2006 – Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) today announced three motherboards, the PF5, 945P-A (V1.1 and V2.0) and the 945PL-A, all based on Intel 945 series chipset that are able to support ATI CrossFire technology through BIOS updates.

    Featuring dual PCI Express X16 slots, the PF5, 945P-A (V1.1 and V2.0) and the 945PL-A are designed for multi-rendering. By updating to the latest BIOS, the PF5, 945P-A (V1.1 and V2.0) and the 945PL-A enable two PCI-E based graphics cards to work effectively in tandem to deliver superb 3D performance.
