    No, the P4VMM2 V8.1 supports AGP mode up to 4X (1.5V only). You can install an AGP 8X card on this MB but the card will run with AGP 4X mode.

    Which type of AGP card is supported by P4VMM2 V7.3 & does it support PC2700 DDR module? Can I install PC3200 DDR RAM with FSB 533 MHz on this MB? 

    1.The P4VMM2 V7.3 is compliant with 1X/2X/4X AGP 2.0 card with 3.3V and 1.5V.
    2.The P4VMM2 V7.3 only supports PC2100 DDR. But you still can use PC 2700 DDR, the memory speed will  
       downgrade to PC2100.

    Why does the system freeze/hang if I try to open many layers in Adobbe Photoshop? 

    Please update BIOS to v1.1F attached below to solve this Adobe Photoshop 7 issue.

    Why BIOS detected 1.8GHz at POST screen when I installed a P4 2.4GHz CPU on P4VMM2 V8.1 M/B? 

    During POST, please press "Del" key to enter BIOS Setup & set the right CPU clock. The setting depends on the FSB of your CPU. (For example, if the CPU is P4 2.40G/533MHz FSB, please set the CPU clock to 133MHz.)

    What is the maximun cpu speed for the P4VMM2 V1.3? 

    The P4VMM2 V1.3 supports CPU up to P4 2.6GHz( FSB 400MHz).

    Does P4VMM2 V8.1 support CeleronD 315(2.26GHz) or 320(2.4GHz) E0 stepping CPU? 

    Yes, the BIOS v1.1F of P4VMM2 supports P4 Prescott 3.4G E0 & Celeron D CPUs without any problems.

    Why the P4VMM2 V1.3 can not bootable when I install ATI Radeon 9600 VGA card in system? 

    Please make sure the APG card is 8X because M/B supports AGP 4X only.

    I am unable to save BIOS settings even if BIOS Protect jumper is disabled. The system hangs upon pressing "Y" when saving BIOS changes. The message "Press F1 to resume" always appears on startup. 

    Please update P4VMM2 8.1 BIOS to v1.1f to patch this issue by following steps.

    1. Extract the utility to a disk and copy BIOS .bin file to this disk.
    2. Boot from floppy with bootable disk.
    3. Insert the disk(with utility and BIOS)
    4. Execute the awd832b XXX.bin /sn/py/r
    5. Load the default setting.
    6. Save the BIOS then restart the system.

    How can I disable the integrated video card while installing a new extrenal AGP card on the M/B? 

    The integrated video card will be disabled automatically when you install an external AGP card.

    How can my computer recognize "160 GB Samsung HDD"?

    The graphics card "ASUS ATI RADEON 9200 SE/TD/128mb/AGP 8X" does not work on my P4VMM2. 

    Due to H/W chipset limitation, this M/B does not support 8X AGP VGA card. Please use 4X AGP VGA card on this board.

    What's the maximum HDD I could use on P4VMM2 V1.x M/B? What's the latest BIOS for this M/B? 

    The P4VMM2 V1.x supports IDE HDD up to 250GB. The latest BIOS for it is ver. 2002/08/30. Please refer to attached file & run it under Clean MS-DOS mode (boot from bootable FDD), A:\> AMINF341 020830S.ROM.

    I would like to know if I can run a Celeron D 335 Processor 2800 in this motherboard. Is there any updates that I need to do to get this working?
