    Can I use both the DDR and DDR2 on 915P-A V3.0? 

    You can't mix them up since their voltages are different. DDR works at 2.5V while DDR2 is fed by 1.8V.

    Does 915P-A support Intel 3.4GHz EE CPU? 

    The 915P-A v1.1/v1.2 does not support Intel P4 Extreme CPU. The 915P-A v1.2A does support Intel P4 3.4Ghz Extreme CPU.

    When I used a 20-pin ATX power supply on 915P-A Rev1.1, I saw a "warning message" during POST. Is it normal or not? 

    Please update service BIOS to solve this "Warning" message issue.

    Is there a BIOS update for users to disable the 20pin power connector message?

    Does 915P-A support NCQ(Native Command Queuing) SATA drive? 

    NCQ is a new technology supported by Barracuda 7200.7 SATA HDD or above version. It is for S/W developer to build new AP to get better performance from those NCQ HDDs. The 915P-A is able to detect the NCQ HDD capacity correctly.

    Does the 915P-A V1.2A could fully supports SATA at 150Mbps? Why the 915P-A V1.2A detects WD (250GB) and Seagate (200GB) SATA drives as UDMA5? 

    The 915P-A V1.2A MB South Bridge is ICH6 that only supported UDMA5 (ATA100) for IDE device. In the CMOS Setup menu, the BIOS detects SATA HDD to IDE HDD UDMA6 mode, but in real mode (Post screen / Windows XP), it’s UDMA5 due to ICH6 supported Mode. The PIO, DMA and UDMA concepts are exclusively for IDE ATA/TAPI drives. These terms do not apply for Serial ATA drives. The fastest ATA mode is UDMA 6 (133 MB/s) while Serial ATA technology can transfer data up to 150 MB/s. Operating systems and other applications may recognize Serial ATA drives as UDMA5. However, this does not reflect the correct transfer rate of your drive. From Sandra 2005 test result, you can find the SATA HDD could be recognized to UDMA6 mode, but the real mode is UDMA5. Actually, UDMA5/6 and SATA model performance is the same when we use the HDD performance test utility to test it (Sandra 2005 or something else). We also found all the other brands M/B in the market that has the same technology.

    What is CPU TM function in bios setting for? 

    TM1 is the function that reduced the CPU duty cycle (internal clock) if CPU reaches the specific temperature (depends on CPU).
    TM2 is reduce CPU voltage and clock (external clock) if the CPU reaches specific temperature (depends on CPU).

    What is MaxCPU ID Value Limit in bios setting for? How do we utilize it and with any particular OS? 

    MaxCPU ID Value Limit option is for Prescott CPU that could not install WinNT 4.0 issue. If you need to Install Windows NT 4.0 w/ Prescott CPU, you need to enable this option.

    Could you let me know if our 915P-A pcb 1.1 will support 8x PCI-E RAID card on the PCI-E 16x slot on the motherboard? Customer tried to put this PCI-E raid card on the PCI-E 16x slot on 915P-A but it is not detected. 

    Please update the attached service BIOS to patched it.

    Why the +12V power voltage will show 9.79V on the Sandra2005 on 915P-A V1.2A M/B? 

    Since there is no defined and hareware support for the +12V voltage on 915P-A V1.2, so it will show the incorrect voltage in the program.
