How do I know the BIOS version of the motherboard?

Please look for the BIOS version on the screen when you boot up the computer as below.

How do I know the serial number of the motherboard?
|
|
(a) Please look for the serial number near the parallel port on
the motherboard as below.
|

(b )For motherboard without parallel
port: Pay close attention to the farthest PCI slot from the center
of the board which is also the closest to the edge of the board.
There on one of the sides is a white sticker which contains the
serial number.
