ECS Elitegroup is pleased to announce the release of the Pentium 4 DDR L4IBAE mainboard with Intel 845E chipset. The board is manufactured using state-of-the-art technology and high quality components used.
The L4IBAE is an ATX, socket 478 board for Intel Pentium 4 processors with FSB speeds up to 533MHz. It comes with the Intel 845E chipset that comprises an 82845E and 82801DB Memory Controller Hub, I/O Controller Hub 2 (ICH4) and a Firmware Hub. The chipset also supports AGP 4X, ATA/100 and AC97 Audio Codec. Onboard LAN (Realtek 8100B), Promise RAID (RAID 0, 1) controller and VIA VT6306 IEEE1394 controller are optional. There are 3 DDR DIMM sockets (184-pin) that support up to 2GB of memory (DDR266/200). For expansion options, the board generously provides 6 PCI slots, an AGP slot and a CNR slot. The board comes with an Award BIOS.
The board has PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors, two USB ports, an optional LAN connector, two high-speed serial ports, an EPP/ECP parallel port, audio jacks for microphone, line-in, line-out and CD-in and a game port, as well as supporting Plug and Play. There are two PCI IDE interfaces that support up to four IDE devices (PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2, ATA 66/100), with an option of adding two independent ATA channels to support another four IDE devices (PIO Mode 4, DMA Mode 2, ATA66/100). There are two IEEE1394 headers (optional).
The L4IBAE also comes with LAN/modem wake-up and Suspend to RAM functions. A detailed manual is also provided.
Providing solid performance at a very competitive price, the L4IBAE must surely be the best value, 845E solution available. Be sure to check it out!
