Elitegroup Computer Systems today added to its high-end Extreme line the premium KV2 Extreme motherboard that supports the revolutionary AMD Athlon 64FX CPU with 939-pin socket design and features high performance Dual Channel DDR 400.
Dual Channel DDR memory architecture, a VIA K8T800Pro chipset and outstanding connectivity plus an array of outstanding Extreme features that include dazzling performance, built-to last luxury, outstanding stability and superior monitoring capabilities, add a new and exciting element to the 64-bit technology experience. The ECS KV2 Extreme supports the AMD Athlon 64FX CPU that advances X86 PCs from 32-bit to the 64-bit processing. This processing power was previously only available for workstations or servers. With its enhanced 1GHz front side bus speed and Dual Channel DDR 400, the ECS Extreme creates a balanced platform that is optimized for memory demanding applications such as 3D graphics in advanced games, 3D modeling, high resolution video editing and playback in addition to other multi application and multi tasking applications.
