Why does Apacer 1G DDR400 w/ Samsung memory chip get instability on PM800-M2 1.0?
Please update attached BIOS to patch it. If you didn't get instability with DDR400, please don't update this BIOS. Since VIA PM800 chipset memory timing tolerance is very small, the standard released BIOS does not cover all the DDR400.
There is a message - "Warning! CPU has been changed or CPU Ratio changed fail" during PSOT of my PM800-M2. How can I fix it?
Please follow the steps below to fix it.
1. Power off computer.
2. Remove the CMOS jumper to clear CMOS mode (JP1,2-3) for 30 seconds.
3. Resume the CMOS jumper back to normal mode (JP1,1-2) & then power on your system again.
The onboard VGA will be disabled automatically when you insert an external AGP VGA card.

Do you release Hardware Monitor utility for PM800-M2?
No, we don't have the Hardware monitor utility for PM800-M2. Maybe you can use hardware monitor from the third party. It's easy to find it via Internet. (For example: Sandra 2005.. etc)

We encounter the KingMax 512M DDR400 memory in PM800-M2. It's unstable.
Please update attached BIOS for KingMax 512M DDR module.
My ECS PM800-M2 can't detect my 80GB WD Sata hard disk.At the bios the onboard SATA is enabled.
Please access "BIOS Setup" --> "Integrated Peripherals" --> "VIA OnChip IDE Device" to set "SATA Mode" to [IDE] and save the change. Then check if the SATA HDD is detected after reboot.
