Yes, this model can support AMD Phenom™ II X6 Black Edition 1100T CPU from BIOS version 10/03/24. Please refer to the CPU support table listed the CPU that ECS had tested and qualified.

This model comes with 3 PCI Express slots. Only the first PCI Express slot (the closed to CPU) supports PCI Express Gen2.0 x16 bandwidth, the second PCI Express slot supports PCI Express Gen2.0 x8 bandwidth, the third PCI Express slot supports PCI Express Gen2.0 x4 bandwidth.

The main difference between V1.0 and V2.0 on A890GXM-A is that V2.0 can support "CPU Unlock" feature which allow to enable AMD specified 2/3 cores CPU to 4 cores. You can enable "CPU Unlock" item under M.I.B. III(MB Intelligent BIOS III)  from  BIOS setup menu. Version 1.0 does not support this feature.

The ATX 1x4-pin is power connector for additional graphics card. We suggest user to connect ATX4P power to provide sufficient power consumed by the additional graphics card that installed at PCI-E slot.
