We wanted to test a MIDI keyboard with the K7VZA motherboard, but we can't make it work at all. With the P6IWP-Fe motherboard (C-Media sound chip) we have no problems. But on K7VZA there is VIA AC97 Audio Codec.
K7VZA has AC97 codec that doesn't support MIDI device. The CMI8x38 on the P6IWP-Fe has a C-Media chip that does support MIDI device; this is a specification limitation.

if use 128 or 256 MB Double side RAM 2pcs then will no function , but if change MB CPU speed to 100MHz than will ok ,oder use single RAM also no problem.
Update BIOS to JAMA V3.2D could patch. We add some bios code(CLK_CTL) owing to AMD recommandation

The system froze when the sound card was plugged into one of the PCI slot. Please confirm whether there are two capacitors(C31,C32) under the DIMM slot near the right side of the IDE connector. Please confirm if the value of C31 and C32 are 22pf. Can we patch one or two boards with the C31/C32 for this customer to verify?
The value of C31 and C32 are 22pf. You have to patch them onto the board to fix the problem.

The board work correctly with a AMD Processor at 100 Mhz but in thelast days I have a problems with AMD Athlon at 133 Mhz on t his motherboard. Like a AMD T-Bird 1200,1333, and 1400 Mhz.All seems work fine but when I have finished to install Windows 98s ethe sistem Hang and crash before to come to desktop.This probl ems I have find on more of one MA AV363B.Exist a solution ? The bios is the last one version, I have checkedyour web site for informations but nothing.
V3.3B bios could patch 266FSB unstable issue.

My system often freezes up & there is an ACPI error message at Windows XP's event viewer.

1. Extract the utility to a disk and copy BIOS .bin file to this disk.
2. Boot from floppy with bootable disk.
3. Insert the disk(with utility and BIOS).
4. Execute the awd832b XXX.bin /sn/py/r
5. Load the default setting.
