Taipei, Taiwan, May 28, 2008 –Elitegroup Computer Systems Co. Ltd. (ECS), the leading international manufacturer of computers and motherboards, has announced today that during the Computex Taipei 2008 held in Nangang Exhibition Hall of Taipei World Trade Center, exhibiting the full product line-up in booth no. L607a . The exhibition includes motherboards, graphics cards, desktop systems, laptop computers, and mobile products. In this 5-day exhibition, ECS focuses on the theme of “Innovation and Sophistication” and will present buyers and media from all over the world with their full range of products and solutions.
In Computex Taipei 2008, ECS’ complete and rich product line-up includes the latest Intel® 4 series and AMD motherboards, high-performance GeForce9800 G TX graphics card, Classmate PC, MIT (Mobile Internet Terminal), DTV (Digital TV), and other products that are environment-friendly and energy-saving.
Small Form Factor and the All-in-One System
SFX10 is a small, light-weight desktop computer with the volume of 3 liters. Supporting Microsoft DX10 and HD video, SFX10 achieves low power consumption without sacrificing its performance. MXM expansion module also allows you to upgrade your 3D graphics card and satisfy your gaming needs.
ECS’ All-in-One integrative computer saves power, material, and space by combining the unit with a22’ ’ monitor, and the result is a streamlined unit with a trendy and fashionable appearance.
Laptop Computers
ECS Classmate PC specifically focuses on people from developing communities for accessibility, connectivity, and education. A 7 and 8.9 inch display in kid-friendly design with storage of up to -60GB HDD and 2/4 GB NAND flash plus water-resistant integrated keyboard. Supported by Intel mobile processor and also with a built –in 1.3 Mega Pixel camera to create a notebook boasting a small size with ultimate performance.
Mobile Internet and Digital TV
ECS’ MIT (Mobile Internet Terminal) is the advanced version of MID (Mobile Internet Device). The 5-inch monitor makes it easier to carry and browse the Internet, and the keyboard is also great for entering messages or writing e-mails. By linking LBS with W6500 and3G /WIFI connection, you can stay connected wherever you go.
Two models of DTV are also shown in this exhibition. N1200T with a2.8’ ’ monitor is currently the most portable mobile TV with the recording function. DVB-T is designed for regions such as Taiwan , Europe, and Australia , whereas N1300C is the DMB-T for China 3.6’ ’ monitor, it weighs only about 200 g and is a great portable device.
