When I power on my H55H-M MB, I get "no display" & there are some short beeps. What is wrong?
Please make sure your CPU is Intel Core i5/i3 series with "Intel HD Graphics" as follows.
If your processor is not one of these 7 models, you must install a PCI-E graphics card to get the display output. Otherwise, you may receive "no display" on H55H-M.
For more information about this behavior, please check out the Intel website below.
I got a problem on 11/26/2009 BIOS, the POST screen shows "The IMC is operating with DDR3 800" when installing DDR3 1333Mhz RAM? How to fix it?
This is an incorrect string showed on POST, actually the memory speed is opreating with DDR3 1333Mhz, To fix the issue, you can update the BIOS to version 05/19/2010. Then you will get a correct string as "The IMC is operating with DDR3 1333" on POST. Please visit the following website to download the BIOS. https://campaign.ecs.com.tw/support/faq_file/ECS/H5M519.zip
Should I enable C-STATE in BIOS Setup for Intel® Turbo Boost feature?
Yes, it is recommended. When you attempt to support Turbo Boost Technology with Intel® Turbo Boost supporting processors, it is suggested to enable C-State in BIOS to obtain better performance if it is available.
For example,
One particular processor may allow up to two frequency steps (266.66 MHz) when just one core is active and one frequency step (133.33 MHz) when two or more cores are active. Therefore, higher deep C-state residency ("C3" or "C6") on some cores will generally result in increased core frequency on the active cores.
Can I install an external PCI Express graphics card and use it in parallel with Intel graphics?
According to the datasheet of Intel 5 series chipset, Intel graphics cannot be used along with an external PCI Express graphics controller. Installing a PCI Express graphics controller will disable Intel graphics. Please refer to the following website for more information about Multiple Display.
