How to run DDR2 at 1066MHz when RAM spec is 1066MHz? But it runs as 800MHz ?

Due to the AMD CPU included memory controller ,the memory speed will be varied depended on CPU being used as default operation frequency. For example, if the AMD Athlon and Sempron series processors being used, the system will run at 800MHz or lower. If use the AMD Phenom™ X3 Triple-Core Processors and Phenom™ X4 Quad-Core Processors, the memory speed might be able to support 1066MHz when RAM spec is 1066MHz . But due to the Phenom CPU and memory module limitation, the DRAM may need to adjust the voltage for supporting DDR2 1066MHz. For better compatibility to support 1066MHz. How to set share memory in the CMOS setup?

Please access “Advanced Chipset Setup” of the CMOS setup to set “Share Memory” item, if the item is set to “Auto”, Share Memory Size can be controlled according to the DRAM size. When the DRAM size is less than 512MB, Share Memory Size should be set to 64MB, while between 512MB and 1GB, it should be set to 128MB, when more than 1GB, it should be set to 256MB. When installing external PCI-Express graphics card, the system will not use Share Memory from DRAM.

Can A780GM-A V1.1 support 125W CPU?

This model is designed for supporting 95W CPU base on AM2+ platform. As you can see there are some 125W CPU listed on CPU support table, these CPU are validated by ECS and able to work properly.
